Temperature monitoring for drinking water hygiene

Monitor hot water and circulation temperatures centrally. SECURUS reports deviations from target values and documents measurement histories for your operational monitoring.

How it works

From the reading to the right person.

01

Measure

Sensors record readings or events directly on site.

Circulation · 58.4 °C
02

Transmit

Via LoRaWAN radio to the gateway and on to the SECURUS Cloud. Wireless, even from basements.

03

Check

The platform checks every value against your thresholds, rules and time windows.

Target value 55 °C
04

Alert

The responsible person receives an SMS or email with location, time and cause.

The problem

Why drinking water hygiene matters

Hot water temperatures that are too low and rarely used pipes encourage germs such as legionella. Without continuous measurement, a deviation is often only noticed at the next sample.

The solution

How it works with SECURUS

  • Measure flow, return and pipe temperatures
  • Notification when defined target values are undershot
  • Investigate conspicuous temperature curves in a targeted way
  • Document measurement histories and export them as CSV

Temperature histories support operational monitoring. They do not detect germs and do not replace microbiological testing or mandatory hygiene measures.
