SECURUS/Hardware/IoT controller and dry contact

IoT controllers and dry-contact sensors

Existing equipment often already provides operating states or readings. Dry-contact sensors read suitable volt-free contacts; controllers can connect digital, analog or serial signals depending on the model. SECURUS displays the agreed data centrally.

Technical data according to the manufacturer's datasheet, battery life under the stated conditions. All devices shown transmit via LoRaWAN. In addition to these examples, we also use LoRaWAN devices from other manufacturers depending on requirements.

Check equipment signals and interfaces

For machine or pump monitoring, first identify the available signal. A qualified contractor checks contact type, voltage and interface. A Modbus connection alone does not guarantee integration; registers and meaning must be known.

FAQ

Sensor selection questions

What is a volt-free contact?

It provides a switching state without its own output voltage. A qualified contractor checks compatibility with the sensor.
