SECURUS/Hardware/Vibration sensor

Vibration sensors for machine monitoring

Vibration sensors measure movement at a machine’s mounting point. Changes may indicate altered condition. SECURUS displays transmitted metrics and reports deviations from your rules so maintenance can investigate.

Technical datasheet (PDF)

Technical data according to the manufacturer's datasheet, battery life under the stated conditions. All devices shown transmit via LoRaWAN. In addition to these examples, we also use LoRaWAN devices from other manufacturers depending on requirements.

Measure vibration under comparable conditions

Mounting, direction, speed and operating state affect comparisons. Agree with maintenance which metrics are meaningful during normal operation. Machine monitoring can add fault contacts and temperatures.

FAQ

Sensor selection questions

Does a vibration sensor predict every failure?

No. It measures certain vibration characteristics, which must be assessed in the context of the machine and its operation.

Which device is right for you?

We select the right device with you, integrate it into SECURUS and deliver it ready for use.
