SECURUS/Hardware/Water quality sensor

Water quality sensors for pH and other parameters

Water probes measure selected chemical or physical parameters. A suitable transmitter sends readings to SECURUS. Selection depends on the medium, measurement task and conditions at the point of use.

Example EC probe
0–2,000 µS/cm or 10–20,000 µS/cm, ±1 % of full scale, with temperature, IP68, 5 m cable
Interface
RS485 (Modbus)
Power supply
Battery, 8,500 mAh (Li-SOCl₂)
Battery life
several years (manufacturer's specification, depending on transmission interval and probes)
Operating temperature

Choose probes by measurement task and maintenance needs

Select the parameters that answer your specific question. Water quality monitoring planning includes cleaning, calibration and reference checks. Ensure access to points and materials suited to the medium.

FAQ

Sensor selection questions

Does pH measurement replace comprehensive water analysis?

No. pH describes one property. Other requirements need suitable additional measurements or tests.

Which device is right for you?

We select the right device with you, integrate it into SECURUS and deliver it ready for use.
